Message to the Churches of America

The people draweth nign unto me with their mouth and houreth me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Matthew 15:8

One day our family had an opportunity to serve at a public function. During our time there many people mainly Christians approached us and asked us some of the following questions:
• Why do you have such a large family? Are they all yours?
• Why do you educate your children at home?
• Why do your children dress the way they do?
• Why is your older child not in college?
• Why don’t you let your older children date?
     These and other questions were asked by professing Christians, but why are there ideals so unfamiliar to them? In the following areas I believe the Lord is calling his people to holiness and He wants us to separate from the philosophies of this world. We are to do whatever it takes to do just that.

“Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth…” Ecclesiastes 12:1

     Most of our children today are being taught from an evolutionary mindset instead of a creator concept. Simply stating, if we are created in his image then it is he who sets the rules and not us. It’s up to us to know what he wants from each of us. It is not a matter of opinion.

“He said unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so” Matthew 19:8

      The church of Jesus Christ has lost its savor. They are competing with the world in the area of divorces. More than 50% of Christian homes end up in divorce. Jesus went on to say concerning this is that all men cannot receive this saying, save they to whom it is given.
      We suffer from this is because we have adopted the world’s way of finding a life long mate which conditions our children for divorce. Is it no surprise that when God’s people divorce we hear that God wants us to be happy. But God says “…he that keepeth the law, happy is he” Proverbs 29:18.

To be really happy is in the area of having children. God’s word again says, “Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed …” Psalm 127:5

      One hundred years ago the average family size was nine children, but because of the false philosophies of this world God’s people are at an average of less than two. To maintain our present population the average number of children has to be at a minimum of three. Studies show that the next generation is going to struggle because of the mindset of not having enough children.
      We have forgotten that God opens the womb not us. Most people don’t realize that the woman responsible for bringing birth control to us was a woman who was bitter towards God and felt that marriage was an abomination. She also felt that women should be free and be with whoever they wanted. She advocated sterilization and wanted a law passed giving the government control of how many children families ought to have. The woman’s name is none other than Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood.

He that spareth his rod, hateth his son: but he that loveth him chaseneth him betimes (early) Proverbs 13:24

      Today we hear that to discipline our children the way God tells us will destroy the child’s creative thinking and will stunt his/her emotional growth The choice is simple: Do we believe God or Man? This is not the first time man has had to make this decision.

For I have told him that I will judge his house forever for the iniquity which he knoweth; because his sons have made themselves vile, and he restrained them not.” I Samuel 3:13

      Why are we surprised when we see the things children do today? God’s word is so clear and remember that he holds us responsible for their conduct. Some countries used to punish the parents if their children were evil. In the Old Testament if a child was rebellious to his parents, they would take them to the authorities and they would kill them for the purpose of protecting the rest of the city. Needless to say most children had their accountability. That should tell us how important God sees this. Today we have people, even professing Christians, making laws against disciplining our children.

“The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God” Deuteronomy 22:5

       This one has caused such a problem in the church that pastors dare to speak on the subject. They as well as their people cannot come to a place in their lives that God wants them to dress the way he wants and not how we think we should dress. Even Jesus holds the woman partly to blame in what she wears in relationship to how a man lust’s after her in his heart. (Matthew 5:28 with her).
      Most people do not realize that God has set a standard of dress in the Bible. Church leaders who know this will not preach it because they fear man more than they fear God. They have rejected his standard and have thus brought judgment not only to their home but to the people they teach.

Speaking to yourselves in psalms and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord Ephesians 5:19

     Truly the most destructive device that has hit and divided the church of Jesus Christ today is in the area of music. Before the fall of Lucifer, he was gifted in the area of music and perhaps was the choir director in heaven (Ezek. 28:13). With that in mind he would have no problem with corrupting Godly music.
      God’s word tells us that we are not to love the things of the world and if we do the love of the father is not in us. We do not act or dress or play music like the world to win the world. The result of it will only compromise and weaken our message and eventually return to the world.
      Since contemporary music has been out it has destroyed many lives. Those in the business have corrupted the minds of kids that play Jesus, but they don’t seek him.
Do using worldly methods in Christianity actually work? No they do not!
The Bible tells us that the Ark of the Covenant was to be carried by priests on poles in the way that God instructed Moses. In I Samuel the Ark was captured by the Philistines. When plagues struck the Philistines in such a way that they realized that it was because of the Ark they sent it back on a cart, God honored this because He never told them how to carry it.
      Years later King David had the ark carried, but not the way as God instructed. When the cart tilted one of David’s men went to support the ark and he was killed by the Lord (II Samuel 6:3-7). David became afraid and said how shall the ark come to me?
God has set forth his principals to his people on how to live and conduct themselves and ignorance is no excuse (Hosea 4:6).
      Jesus told us that we are to let our light so shine before men that they may see our good works and glorify our father in heaven. The way to do that is to obey him in the manner of conduct and appearance. Remember that God looks on the inside man looks on the outward. Since man can’t see the inward we must show it in our conduct and appearance, so let it shine!
A negative message in a time were pastors are only preaching positive messages.

God gives blessings and curses to his people

“A Blessing if you obey …. And a curse if you don’t obey … Deut. 11:27 & 28

Cursed be he that doeth the work of the Lord deceitfully Jeremiah 48:10

…Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven but he that doeth the will of my father, which is in heaven. Matthew 7:21

How does one get into a right relationship with God?

First realize that they cannot get to heaven on their own merits. The Bible says that “For all have sinned and come short (that means everybody can’t get to Heaven on their own) of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23)

Jesus Christ (who is the Son of the living God) came to earth and was born of a virgin woman (therefore he was not born of the curse of mankind) he lived a sinless life and died on a cross for all the sins in the world. Three days later, God the Father raised Him from the dead. He was seen of 500 witnesses and returned to heaven. God’s word says that if we believe these things and call upon the Lord, we will be saved. Romans 10:9 - 13
